Welcome back!
It has been a pleasure to welcome the children back to school after the Christmas break. They have returned full of smiles and excitement, clearly happy to be reunited with their friends and familiar routines. We have spent time reconnecting, sharing holiday memories, and talking about the special moments that made their Christmas celebrations meaningful.
As part of our settling-in period, the children have been encouraged to reflect on their experiences, listen to one another, and express their thoughts through conversations, drawings, and play. These opportunities help to support communication and language development while strengthening friendships and a sense of belonging within the classroom.
We are now looking ahead to the Winter season and all that it has to offer. The children are already showing great enthusiasm for the frosty weather, observing changes in the environment and discussing what Winter might bring. We will be exploring seasonal changes through outdoor play, creative activities, and sensory experiences, helping the children to develop curiosity and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
We are looking forward to a fun and engaging term ahead, filled with learning, exploration, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the magic of Winter together.
