Our final week has arrived and we are all ready for a long holiday. The children are excited about moving into year 1 and we have had lots of visits from Miss Davis so they are familiar with her and her with them. She has watched how they interact and learn and will take that forward into Year 1. The children who are leaving us are also excited and have all visited their new schools. I have managed to speak to most of their teachers and they are looking forward to them starting in September. We have had most of the children for 2 years so it is always a bit of a wrench watching them go but we look forward to hearing how they are getting on in year 1 from Miss Davis. We normally pay them a visit in the first week.
We have had a relatively normal week and have tried to keep to our routine as much as possible. We were lucky on Friday to be able to watch the Year 6 production which the children enjoyed.
On Monday and Tuesday we will be sorting out the room with the children and asking them to help  decide what we should have for next year so that they can be part of the change.
On Tuesday we finish school at 2.00pm. School Road gets very busy as the Year 6 leavers have lots of family members come along to see them leave school for the last time. If you are driving I suggest you park in the side streets and walk in or get here a little earlier. You have been warned!!!!!
I would just like to say a great big thank you for all the support you have given us this year. To all our parents who are leaving we wish you all the best and to our parents who are staying, see you in September.
Have a great Summer.
Mrs Robinson:)
