The sun has been kind to us this week and the children have spent lots of time outside. We had our picnic on Tuesday which the children enjoyed. They made all their own sandwiches and decorated the biscuits. They were very good at eating them as well!
The children loved taking the parents into the wildlife area and showing them insect and plants that are growing and living naturally.
Henry brought in a sunflower  and the children used their observational skills to draw what they saw. We have also listened to some traditional tales which stimulated the children's imaginations.
On Monday we are going to visit Christ Church to look at the building. Chris the curate is going to talk to us about the building and tell us a story. On Wednesday we will be having our new nursery children in the unit for an hour in the morning and on Thursday our new reception children will be joining us, we are also having our parent consultations next week. Please make sure you have booked your slot or speak to me if you have any problems.
Could you please have a look at home and see if you have any library books so that we can collect them in before the end of term.
Have a great weekend.
Mrs Robinson.
