LIFE CYCLES

Our Caterpillar Adventure Begins!

This week, the children were very excited to welcome some special new visitors to our classroom – caterpillars! We have begun a fascinating life cycle journey and will be carefully observing how our tiny caterpillars grow and change over the coming weeks before eventually transforming into beautiful butterflies.

The children have already shown great curiosity, asking thoughtful questions and sharing their ideas about what might happen next. This hands-on experience provides a wonderful opportunity to develop their understanding of the natural world, encouraging observation skills, discussion, and a sense of wonder as they witness this amazing process firsthand.

Although the weather has been particularly wet this week, it certainly hasn't stopped our outdoor learning. The children have continued to enjoy exploring and learning outside, making the most of the fresh air and outdoor environment. From investigating puddles and observing the effects of the rain to engaging in imaginative play and physical activities, the children have demonstrated resilience, enthusiasm, and a love of learning regardless of the weather.

We are looking forward to sharing updates on our caterpillars' progress and watching this incredible transformation together!
