Spring has arrived in our EYFS setting, bringing with it a wonderful sense of renewal and excitement. The children have been enjoying spending more time outdoors, where they have been busy exploring the changing environment around them. We have noticed blossoming flowers, budding trees, and the return of birds and insects, which has sparked lots of curiosity and conversation.
Our outdoor learning has provided many opportunities for the children to observe seasonal changes first-hand. They have been developing their language skills by describing what they see, hear, and feel, as well as building their understanding of the natural world. Activities such as nature walks, planting, and exploring textures have encouraged creativity, teamwork, and a love of learning.
The warmer weather has also supported the children’s physical development, as they have enjoyed running, climbing, balancing, and engaging in active play. It has been lovely to see their confidence grow as they take on new challenges and work together with their friends.
As we come to the end of term, we would like to wish all of our families a very Happy Easter. We hope you have a restful break and enjoy the signs of spring together.
Happy Easter
Mrs Robinson
